Splendido parco.

Noi siamo andati, purtroppo, a stagione quasi ultimata.

Parco veramente meraviglioso e ben organizzato.

I would go back every year if I could. This place is great and I had a lovely time with my friends just walking around and appreciating the nature.

This was the highlight of my trip to Amsterdam. This is peak season for the tulips and it is worth dealing with crowds to see the spectacular display of colorful flowers at every turn. Beautifully laid out, very walkable, lots of cafes. Simply wonderful.

A beautiful park with amazing variety of flowers of all shapes and colors. We visited on Sunday, April 20, and I knew it would be crowded, but I didn’t realize it would be THAT CROWDED. Still, I’m happy we went, just needed to overcome an initial shock - incredible flower compositions around helped a lot. Getting there and from: we had a combi ticket with a bus departing from the airport at 13:00. We arrived at bus stop about 30 min earlier expecting a line, but there was none. The bus left at about 12:40, it wasn’t packed, some people were standing, and due to traffic it took us 1 hour to get there. We left the park at about 18:30, waited for the bus for about 10 min and it took us 30 min to get to the airport. Tickets: we got the tickets from the keukenhof website 4 days in advance, kind of in the last moment. I thought the Thursday before Easter weekend could be a safe plan b, as it looked like there were plenty of slots available, we were arriving to Amsterdam on that day, so wanted to see how it goes, but two days before the tickets for the Thursday were sold out, so we grabbed what was available ;). So, yeah, getting them in advance is the way to go. The park is well organized even with a crowd- it wasn’t a problem to eat or find a toilet. Coming with own food would be a great idea, so you could find a spot away from crowds. We didn’t bother with boats or the mill-there was a line even in the end if the day. If you come with kids, don’t miss the playground and the maze. In terms of time, we spent more than 4 hours there and it was enough. We had a flight to catch, otherwise we’d consider coming later and staying until the closing - the conditions were nice in the afternoon ( the weather was sunny on the day).

Keukenhof was absolutely breathtaking, a true feast for the eyes! We visited on Easter Friday (a public holiday) and arrived at 9:15 AM. Entry was super easy and the gardens were peaceful and perfect for photos early on. By lunchtime, though, it was packed! So if you want to enjoy the flowers without the crowds, definitely go first thing. The variety of tulips and garden designs were stunning. Definitely a must do in the Netherlands during spring. Just wear comfy shoes and bring your camera because you’ll be snapping non-stop!

Incredible and a must see!! If you visit the Netherlands in the spring, a tulip park is a must! I’ve never seen so many flowers in one park!!

Heel mooie bloemenparken. Mooi onderhouden. Alles was in volle bloei op 18 april 2025. Vriendelijk personeel. Wel super druk.

This is without a doubt the most beautiful garden for spring flowers you could ever hope to see. We have been fortunate to see this beautiful place several times. We were there on 4/18/25, it had been 10 years since the last visit and things are really different and better for the hordes of people daily. This is a place to see if you can. If you like flowers and especially spring flowers, go don’t wait, you will not be disappointed.
skyandsands
Booked the tickets online which was a very easy process. When you arrive it’s a bit overwhelming with the crowds but it’s very well organised and after the entrance it spreads out quite well. So wonderful to see all the tulips and spring flowers. Most cafés inside only take cards and no cash. It’s the place to go if you love tulips and flowers. Highly recommend
TanielV1918
This is a botanical garden. An astonishing one… The quantity and variety of flowers that I saw here, are more, than the sum of all the flowers, in quantity and variety, in my entire life. Thanks to this place, I suddenly discovered that I love flowers… despite their astronomic quantity and variety in this incredible, and I had to see them all ! from many angles !! This magical place is the result of very, very hard work, by highly qualified and competent people, for sure. Therefore, the entrance fee is fully deserved. Note : do not confuse this with the tulip fields. There are not such huge, large field of flowers, here. HOWEVER, there are some fields, on the last section of the road which will get you to this botanical extravaganza garden. So, this is what I suggest that you do : get there by car (taxi, Uber…), because you can't do this if you are riding a tour-bus. When you get at the last 1 km of the entrance of this Park, ask the driver to leave you there. And walk, the rest of the way… enjoying the breathtaking tulip fields on your right… (while being very careful, so that the numerous people on bicycles do not hit you - it's like that everywhere, in Holland… better get used to it when you are visiting… and always watch your back, literally… and your flanks also… - . In light of the explanation above, in the pictures that I am hereby posting, the flower fields are situated on the side of the last kilometer of road leading to the Entrance of Keukenkof. You cannot see these fields once you have reached the Entrance, because of the vast parking areas for the cars and the buses. The rest is a minimal sampling of the mind-buggling flowers awaiting you inside…

EmilienDeTours
Parc absolument magnifique, bien entretenu, accessible.

Such an array of tulips. Formal gardens many sections are roped off. The indoor flower houses are very pretty but busy when we went. The whispering boat tour was busy. Not the best to take photos of the tulips in the fields because the boat is lower than the fields. Does come with audio tour if you want to use the headphones. The windmill had a constant large queue so didn’t get chance to go up. Miffy was there and a small shop selling miffy goods. Was very expensive. You could queue up to have photos with miffy. Free toilets. We spent 4 hours there.

Although the graden was very crowded, it was really worth the visit. The tulips are indeed very beautiful and the garden is huge.

Rather than go on how beautiful it is some tips: Book entrance and car parking on line You will be there three hours Take a picnic you can find benches away from the crowds Listen to the birds singing in the trees Get away from the main entrances as quick as possible especially the one which has the coaches. Visit Como and co for afternoon coffee or tea and cake or light tea

We were blessed with a sunny day which made our visit here an absolute delight. There are many different independent travel and tour & combo options to get here which are all explained on the tulip festival Amsterdam website. We opted for an afternoon tour departing from ‘this is Holland’ near the Adam lookout which also included the evening illuminated flower parade at Noordwijk. There was so much to see at Kukenhof that we didn’t cover every area of the park in our almost 4 hour visit. We expected it to be busy and it certainly was although it did get quieter as it got closer to closing time. Top tips : If you want to do the whisper boat get a ticket as soon as you arrive. If you see something in one of the shops - buy it ! Don’t assume that everything will be repeated in the shop near the exit.

Stunning! Such beautiful gardens meticulously maintained. We planned our trip for mid-April in the hopes of a near-peak to peak experience. Keukenhof did not disappoint. It was spectacular! So much color and so many varieties. We booked the combo bus/entrance ticket from Haarlem. Bus was very easy to find and we disembarked very close to main entrance. We could leave whenever we wanted and catch the bus back to Haarlem. Recommend arriving as early as you can. It seemed to get more crowded mid-day. Highly recommend.
Holmeboy1974
Well worth the trip and would certainly recommend going. Lovely, although busy. Expect a crowd. Only things we would change from this visit: - never use qbuzz again - think about what going to eat there, as the food is limited, and a bit too jazzy if you want something plain.
sunrise99
Visited the gardens for the first time ever and cannot fault anything there. Every area was great and we saw some beautiful flowers today. I booked the tickets for the garden from the official garden website and it linked me to tickets to book the bus. I booked the tickets several months ago. However the Q- Buzz bus left a lot to be desired. Although allocated a specific time the queues were long and buses infrequent. On the way back we waited with more long queues and a shortage of buses. The bus appeared overcrowded with lots of people having to stand. Once we got on the bus the driver got off. The visitor organiser drove the bus to a parking spot and watched and waited on the bus until another driver got on. The new driver drove off with the windows misted up. Later in the journey he got a passenger to wipe the front window down. He proceeded to text whilst driving. I think passenger safety is paramount and texting whilst driving unacceptable. I recommend when booking the trip to go to the local tourist information centre and book the garden trip with them. It was €20 cheaper pp and hopefully you will get a safe driver.

We took the tram to Central station and there you catch the ferry for free. Once you get across, you’re gonna go over the bridge to the This is Holland building and check-in. There you will catch the shuttle bus it’ll take you to Keukenhof. It takes about an hour ride and you’ll see fields of tulips. I suggest getting there very early as the crowds are very heavy as the day goes on. Nice trip for all ages. Cannot describe the smells, sounds and beauty A must see. April 15, 2025 perfect time and weather

We loved it but the €10 whisper boat tour was a waste of time and not worth it as it doesn't travel to through the park but on the outside and the views are not that interesting. For food I would highly recommend Jacoba's Kitchen (at Oranje Nassau Pavilion)
FVDBHuyBelgique
karensR3772XF
Beautiful gardens. Easy to walk around the property. All the flowers were spectacular. Plenty of places to sit and rest. Highly recommend.

np871
Beautiful day out at the gardens. Layout and flowers were stunning so you cant fault Keukenhof. Visitors please be mindful that people are there to observe the flowers not just take selfies and take up time so others cant view the flowers. Food and drinks were overpriced. Other than that loved seeing the Tulips in abundance

Visited for the 1st time on Monday 7th April with my husband while on holiday in Amsterdam. We'd booked a combi-ticket several weeks before from the official website which included a bus to Keukenhof from RAI bus station in Amsterdam, think you can travel from Amsterdam Central station too if that's nearer to your hotel. We took an uber from our hotel to RAI as it's quite far out. It was very well organised, someone checked our tickets then we queued for a few minutes for the next Keukenhof bus, they were very frequent. The journey took about 40 min as traffic was busy. We got straight in the park. Right away we were blown away by the beautiful flowers ! Everywhere you looked there were stunning colours, some more informal " meadow " style mixed planting & others more geometric shapes, thousands of all colours tulips, daffodils, hyacinths & other Spring flowers, together with lakes, trees, stepping stones, a windmill etc. The smell of the hyacinths was heavenly ! It was the size of a small theme park but of flowers ! We only went in 2 of the pavilions as the weather was so lovely & sunny that week, they would give you shelter on a rainy day I suppose. We saw the pretty roses in 1 pavilion & hundreds of beautiful tulips in the 1 with the large cafeteria. We brought our own lunch & drinks with us as we were lucky it was such a sunny day & ate them on a bench in the picnic area, we bought them from a supermarket in Amsterdam in a backpack. We just bought ice-creams on park but you could buy bulbs etc from various places round the park. The park seems very well equipped for people in wheelchairs etc, all flat, plenty of toilets etc & there's a children's playground. We spent around 5 hours at Keukenhof marvelling at the beautiful flowers, yes it was busy & you sometimes had to wait for people to move on to be able to take the photos you wanted but it's only open a few weeks per year & is world famous so for us it was worth it. I would guess about 80% of the flowers were blooming on the 7th April when we visited, we were very happy with this, I would say maybe the middle of April is the peak time for everything to be flowering. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Keukenhof & the journey back was just as efficient on the bus. It is the most beautiful garden we've ever seen, thank you to the hard working Keukenhof gardeners !

What an amazing array of flowers. Not only the tulips which were of course fabulous, some in full flower, others just starting to open, but there are also huge pavilions with information, and hot houses with orchids, and roses.

We visited these beautiful gardens during the local flower festival. Such lovely displays not only of tulips but of other spring bulbs. Some displays were very orderly and others more naturalised. It was crowded but well organised. A lovely day and easy to get to the gardens on the 180 bus from Haarlem station.

We went in the second week of April, 2025. There were a good number of mid-season and early flowers blooming. Some of the late-season flowers were about to bloom or had not yet come to colour. Some of the early season flowers had died off. Overall, about what we expected. One disappointment with the flowers themselves was that one of the fields on the edge of the venue had been harvested, and was brown. We were hoping to see the endless fields of flowers seen on the web, but I think this is something best viewed elsewhere. We paid for the bus from Schiphol, which, if you also paid for an Amsterdam and Region transit pass, I would advise you not to do, as this is included in the pass at the time of writing. I wish this was indicated on the page where you can purchase the shuttle tickets. The shuttle itself was also late, but not too crowded. The park itself was less crowded than we expected based on what other reviewers have said. We went in the evening mid-week which may have contributed. On the Keukenhof website it indicated that day was "not crowded". Having been to tourist attractions like ZhangJiajie and Shibuya Sky at peak time, I would say the park was more like a mid-day Slojterdijk level of busy. Certainly there were noticeable crowds, but they did not detract from the experience. Overall, if you have never been, I would highly recommend going. However I would not recommend paying for the shuttle if you already have a ticket.

The canal cruise was perfect, the captin come guide gave us headphones to listen in our own language. The riverboat was clean and tidy, easy to walk on and off, it was a nice day and we got some beautiful pictures!! A great end to a fantastic tourist holiday!!

We did the early evening cruise to see the lights of the city. Easy to get tickets by turning up and allocated the next cruise. There is an audio link that you can use, but we decided to just sit outside and watch the views. An hour cruise which was interesting and pretty.
Lynsey T
We had an hour cruise around the canals in Amsterdam and learnt a lot whilst doing it. We really enjoyed every second. My five year old didn’t want to get off. The captain was also very knowledgeable.
Marinel15
CanadianBlondie
This is a must do on your list of things to do while visiting Amsterdam. It takes you through areas that you may not be able to walk to. The captain points out things of interest and tells the story behind it.

We had a really lovely time on the one-hour canal cruise. Our captain was very lovely and cracked a good few jokes throughout the tour. The GPS guided tour via the headphones was a fab idea and there were so many language options available which was a really pleasant surprise. We learned so much about the history of the city and the tour even helped us to find places to visit again in further detail after the tour. The price was extremely reasonable considering the excellent experience we got, and our boat even left a little early which was nice. All in all, we would definitely recommend it!
Brad D
We really enjoyed it. We show I I amsterdam cards at the ticket office ans were on a boat and on our way within 10 minutes. Our captain (Tony I believe was his name) was lovely ,cheerful and very knowledge of the area, he also had 2 traniees with him and they were also lovely. The facilties were clean. If I hadn't have had the I amsterdam card I would have still paid what the price was (which I think is reasonable).

1st time in Amsterdam and loved it Booked on the Lovers Canal cruise early in the morning to get a feel for the city and to get our bearings The tour showed the highlights of the city and the comentry was good
Vladimir J
sitting backward is really annoying... Except that I think it is very nice and the captain was a nice guy, he was really funny, making jokes.

Booked through Get Your Guide literally 20 mins before boarding. They let us join a boat that was boarding as soon as we got there, which was great, no standing around as they weren’t so busy. We took a daytime trip and glad we did. Maybe evening cruises would be better in warmer months with open boats. The boat was modern, clean and warm and no condensation at all during any part of our cruise. The headphones were included and the audio commentary was interesting. The captain also added bits and pieces of extra info which was appreciated. It was a great introduction to the canals of Amsterdam as we decided to do this trip literally an hour after arriving in Amsterdam. It helped us with our bearings and with general historical info about the city. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that we seemed to stay on one canal, no museums seen, no Anne Frank house, nothing like that, which was a shame as lots of tourists probably visit these places afterwards. Maybe the canal boat starting from the museums area take that route? We took the one from the station. There are lots of canal boat companies, but we were more than happy with Lovers as their boats appear a lot more modern than many others we saw. I would definitely recommend the cruise and my teenage daughter said it was one of the nicest things we did when in Amsterdam.

A amazing tour with some great canal boat skills performed and a great host. This tour is very much for couples and being alone I felt a little out of place.

Done the open boat tour during the summer. A great way to see the city and the audio guide gave plenty of information along the way. Extremely relaxing to the point I almost fell asleep half way around. Would definitely do the tour again if I’m back in Amsterdam

Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Although it rained, I still enjoyed the tour. The only complaint was the audio was difficult to hear at times.

Nice relaxing hour around the canals. Duco (sorry if I have not got the name correct) was informative with history and fun facts. Would recommend.

It was educational, slowed down at the right places. The pilot was polite and explained well- was fun and energetic.
