Giro dei canali in barca assolutamente da consigliare. Audioguida in italiano e Simon simpaticissimo conducente che comunque dava ulteriori informazioni in inglese. La durata è di un'ora ma ci è dispiaciuto scendere!!

El tour está muy bien, en cambio si ya has hecho un freetour por la ciudad recomiendo el crucero primero, te da una vista más general, mi amiga y yo al haber hecho antes el freetour volvimos a ver sitios en los que ya habíamos estado.

Amsterdam City River Cruise
The canal cruise was perfect, the captin come guide gave us headphones to listen in our own language. The riverboat was clean and tidy, easy to walk on and off, it was a nice day and we got some beautiful pictures!! A great end to a fantastic tourist holiday!!
Early evening cruise
We did the early evening cruise to see the lights of the city. Easy to get tickets by turning up and allocated the next cruise. There is an audio link that you can use, but we decided to just sit outside and watch the views. An hour cruise which was interesting and pretty.
Great information finding cruise
We had an hour cruise around the canals in Amsterdam and learnt a lot whilst doing it. We really enjoyed every second. My five year old didn’t want to get off. The captain was also very knowledgeable.

Wir hatten einen super symphatischen Bootsführer der viele Nebeninfos gab. War schön und informativ. 1 Stunde hat gut gereicht und empfehlenswert. Gute Karte erhalten für den Treffpunkt und pünktlich, sowie sauber.
Un paseo agradable en barco
Muy puntuales, un paseo tranquilo, recomiendo que cuando lo cojan miren bien la metereología, pues así podrán disfrutar mejor de las vistas.
Tolle Tour
Die Stunde waren zwar nur ca. 50 Minuten, aber die Tour war wunderschön. Unbedingt abends machen, die Atmosphäre ist unbeschreiblich!

La promenade sur les canaux dure une heure. Les audio guides permettent de suivre les commentaires dans différentes langues. Le long de cette promenade fluviale, nous découvrons l'histoire de la ville et des monuments "célèbres". Par contre, le confort est rudimentaire.
Para escalas cortas de vuelo
Las vistas son preciosas, aunque desde posición incómoda porque el barco estaba muy lleno. El capitán muy simpático e hizo agradable el viaje.
A fab way to see Amsterdam
We had a really lovely time on the one-hour canal cruise. Our captain was very lovely and cracked a good few jokes throughout the tour. The GPS guided tour via the headphones was a fab idea and there were so many language options available which was a really pleasant surprise. We learned so much about the history of the city and the tour even helped us to find places to visit again in further detail after the tour. The price was extremely reasonable considering the excellent experience we got, and our boat even left a little early which was nice. All in all, we would definitely recommend it!
The captian made the experience
We really enjoyed it. We show I I amsterdam cards at the ticket office ans were on a boat and on our way within 10 minutes. Our captain (Tony I believe was his name) was lovely ,cheerful and very knowledge of the area, he also had 2 traniees with him and they were also lovely. The facilties were clean. If I hadn't have had the I amsterdam card I would have still paid what the price was (which I think is reasonable).

sitting backward is really annoying... Except that I think it is very nice and the captain was a nice guy, he was really funny, making jokes.
Go with Lovers
Booked through Get Your Guide literally 20 mins before boarding. They let us join a boat that was boarding as soon as we got there, which was great, no standing around as they weren’t so busy. We took a daytime trip and glad we did. Maybe evening cruises would be better in warmer months with open boats. The boat was modern, clean and warm and no condensation at all during any part of our cruise. The headphones were included and the audio commentary was interesting. The captain also added bits and pieces of extra info which was appreciated. It was a great introduction to the canals of Amsterdam as we decided to do this trip literally an hour after arriving in Amsterdam. It helped us with our bearings and with general historical info about the city. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that we seemed to stay on one canal, no museums seen, no Anne Frank house, nothing like that, which was a shame as lots of tourists probably visit these places afterwards. Maybe the canal boat starting from the museums area take that route? We took the one from the station. There are lots of canal boat companies, but we were more than happy with Lovers as their boats appear a lot more modern than many others we saw. I would definitely recommend the cruise and my teenage daughter said it was one of the nicest things we did when in Amsterdam.

A amazing tour with some great canal boat skills performed and a great host. This tour is very much for couples and being alone I felt a little out of place.
A Great Way To See The City
Done the open boat tour during the summer. A great way to see the city and the audio guide gave plenty of information along the way. Extremely relaxing to the point I almost fell asleep half way around. Would definitely do the tour again if I’m back in Amsterdam

Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Although it rained, I still enjoyed the tour. The only complaint was the audio was difficult to hear at times.

Nice relaxing hour around the canals. Duco (sorry if I have not got the name correct) was informative with history and fun facts. Would recommend.

Bel museo che racconta la storia dell’arte olandese e quindi dell’Olanda stessa. Bravissima la guida italiana. Purtroppo la Ronda di Notte é chiusa dietro un vetro e là si può ammirare solo da lontano. Mi sarei aspettato più opere del secolo d’oro. Ci sono per esempio meno quadri di quanto mi aspettassi di Vermeer.
Luglio ad Amsterdam
Museo molto ben organizzato. Un po' caro ma ne è valsa la pena. Per i minori di 18 anni è gratuito. Audioguide a pagamento ma si può scaricare il link ufficiale e usare il cellulare come audioguida. Tra gli autori più importanti Rembrand e un auto ritratto di Van gog.

Se dovete sciogliere di visitare un solo museo ad Amsterdam e’ questo.
Questa è la terza volta che vengo ad Amsterdam ed è la terza volta che lo visito. La Ronda di Notte ( la Guardia Civica in Marcia) è uno dei miei quadri preferiti e vederlo in fondo alla grande galleria principale toglie il fiato… purtroppo è in restauro con una impalcatura che lo copre. Per il resto le collezioni di mobili , piatti, armi , la sezione delle Compagnia delle Indie Orientali, la pinacoteca sono strepitosi. Non ho visitato il terzo piano e la sezione dell’arte asiatica, ma il complesso è vastissimo.

Museo immenso, la galleria del secolo d'oro è meravigliosa, gli spazi sono ampi e si possono ammirare le opere in tranquillità nonostante le numerose persone. all'ingresso si può prendere una piantina per decidere cosa vedere, perché ci si potrebbe passare dentro una giornata. Shop molto ben fornito con prodotti interessanti.
Un museo davvero variegato!
Un bellissimo museo, ricco di opere d’arte e ben organizzato: da quadri importanti a opere in ceramica, pianoforte, veliero, casa delle bambole e tantissime altre cose. Una visita è obbligatoria per chi soggiorna ad Amsterdam.
Da non perdere
Grande e magnifico museo che racchiude la produzione pittorica olandese dal 1100 ai giorni nostri, compresi alcuni quadri di Van Gogh, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Goya, ecc. Conviene acquistare il biglietto online onde evitare code ed accedere direttamente; dal piano interrato dove si trovano il guardaroba, il ristorante e lo shop si diramano le sale suddivise per periodo storico, Le opere sono facilmente fruibili nonostante la grande quantità di visitatori poiché le sale sono grandi e ben organizzate, Meglio prendere una mappa prima di iniziare la visita perché è facile perdersi date le dimensioni dell’edificio.

Museo ampio e ricco di cose da vedere, con varie sezioni tematiche. Per goderselo al meglio conviene dedicargli una buona parte di giornata.
Bel museo
Museo molto ampio, all'interno ha delle opere molto belle e che meritano di essere visitate. Dopo aver superato i controlli c'è la possibilità di lasciare borse e zaini in armadietti chiusi, molto comodi a mio parere. Bisogna fare attenzione a prenotarsi per un'orario, quando sono andato mi hanno fatto entrare lo stesso ma nei giorni con grande affluenza potrebbero non farvi entrare.

Iconico Rijksmuseum
Museo bellissimo, pieno di opere dei principali pittori olandesi. Grazie all audio guida siamo riusciti a conoscere artisti ed opere bellissime. Il Rijksmuseum,è una delle attrazioni imperdibili di Amsterdam . Visitandolo si ripercorre 800 anni di storia olandese. Chiaramente i capolavori di Vermeer, Rembrandt e Van Gogh sono i più visti ed i più emozionanti, ma ci sono una quantità di opere d’arte che non bastano 5 ore per ammirarle. Ve lo consiglio é impossibile restare delusi. Facile da raggiungere tramite tram o con una bella camminata.

Fantastico!
La visita richiede almeno 4-5 ore di tempo. Bellissimo e interessante non solo la parte relativa a Rembrandt, Verneer e Van Gogh, ma anche la parte medievale e, a piano terra, la parte di gioielli, abiti e porcellane. Unico neo è stata la non sempre chiara logica di percorrenza delle stane museali. Avvertenza: occorre prenotare l'orario di ingresso online.
Un museo per intenditori, ben organizzato. Consiglio di scaricare l’app con audio guida di tutti i quadri esposti
Museo enorme, ricco di opere. Per vedere le più famose ci vogliono un paio d’ore. Per gli intenditori almeno una giornata!!!
Incanto e bellezza da secoli e per secoli
Bello. Bello. BELLO. Tutto del Museo è un "wow" che ti esce spontaneamente dal cuore. L'edificio antico. Le sue integrazioni moderne. L'organizzazione estremamente fluida e senza sforzo da un piano di periodo artistico all'altro. Le collezioni. I capolavori di Rembrandt e Vermeer. La parte di reperti storici che narrano la grande storia commerciale dell'Olanda (la fissata di storia & arte che sono gongola quando le due cose così naturalmente si mescolano quindi immaginatemi FELICE al top mentre giravo per il Rijks). Ma da brava Italiana (e fiorentina) già le opere di tardo medioevo e primo rinascimento Italiano, i magnifici vetri veneziani, le opere dei primi fiamminghi in dialogo con i nostri artisti del 400 mi hanno lasciata incantata. Il Museo semplicemente VA VISTO. E come mi sono accorta capita sempre in Olanda, ogni visita è sorprendente e "facile" per la bravura che hanno in ogni frangente gli olandesi di organizzare tutto benissimo senza fartelo "pesare". Sembrano non esserci, tanto è facile capire come è organizzato il museo, ma se hai bisogno come per magia "arrivano" e ti risolvono i problemi con grande efficacia e sempre con un bel sorriso accogliente e disponibile. TOP.
Perdersi tra i fiamminghi!
Museo d'arte da non perdere! L'edificio è molto grande, ci sono due entrate ma è indifferente il lato dal quale si inizia: al quarto piano si può passare da un'ala all'altra senza uscire dalla struttura. I piani sono suddivisi per secoli. È obbligatorio prenotare online selezionando un orario d'entrata, anche se si possiede una card turistica (ad esempio I Amsterdam Card), consiglio di prenotare all'apertura, più tardi diventa affollato. Qui sono esposte moltissime opere, forse meno blasonate di altri musei europei, ma ci sono diverse chicche come Carracci, Van Gogh, Vermeer, Rembrandt e una vasta selezione di fiamminghi. Al momento della mia visita (maggio 2024) era presente una bellissima exhibition di Frans Hals! Non dimenticate di dare uno sguardo dall'alto sulla biblioteca, imponente! Ci sono aree dedicate anche all'arte più contemporanea, arte orientale, modellini navali e tanto altro. Guardaroba gratuito. Entrata gratuita (con prenotazione) con I Amsterdam Card. Durata della visita con comodo: 4 ore.

... inutile descrivere le opere d'arte ospitate nel museo ... le trovate tutte sul web ... quello che posso suggerire è di acquistare i biglietti on-line per risparmiare tempo sulla fila che comunque anche nel periodo di maggio non era notevole ed era gestita molto bene con due ingressi ... per le opere principali troverete dei fogli plastificati che descrivono l'opera anche nei suoi dettagli e che permettono di ammirarne le parti più interessanti ... ovviamente questi fogli sono soltanto in lingua olandese ed inglese ... altro accorgimento è quello di selezionare preventivamente le opere da vedere ... è un museo enorme e bellissimo ma richiederebbe intere giornate per approfondirlo ... selezionare le opere principali ed individuare le sale in cui si trovano richiederà almeno un un paio d'ore si trarra delle opere suggerite dal museo stesso sul proprio sito ...
Bello ma male organizzato nel flusso
Interessante, ma l'organizzazione con periodo fino al 1600 al piano 0, 1700-1800 al piano 2, post 1800 al piano 1 non è proprio logica. Il percorso è numerato per stanze, ma, se si inizia da metà, per andare alla stanza 1 bisogna scendere e risalire di un piano. Le luci non sono sempre adeguate all'illuminazione dei quadri. L'ambiente è bello e con molti bagni e armadietti o consegna zaini con molto personale, però un museo si giudica non solo da questo e dalle opere contenute, ma anche dalla facilità di fruizione.
Come perdersi nella Bellezza!
E'un monumento all' arte in forme tradizionali. Museo molto ricco di testimonianze artistiche di secoli addietro con un focus speciale su i fasti del 600 in Olanda. Da non perdere la sezione piano terra/ marina!!! Il museo ospita mostre temporanee di artisti di fama ( nel 23 vermeer, nel 24 hals) : le sole mostre valgono il viaggio. Consiglio due visite data la mole di quanto esposto.. Aggiungo però poca attenzione ai visitatori " terza età", prese per pc a terra quando ci sono, personale non particolarmente empatico. Ristorante, caro, in testa.

Museo enorme e, per certi versi, dispersivo. Di certo, però, uno dei musei più belli sia per la struttura che per le collezioni esposte. Interessante e affascinante. C'è davvero molto da vedere e a volte ci si perde. Da non perdere.
Da non perdere.
Parliamo del museo che raccoglie la storia dell’Olanda. Non solo arte pura, ma reperti e documenti per capire meglio la storia culturale e coloniale di questa nazione. Bella la struttura, magico il percorso, non basta un giorno per vedere tutta la collezione che spazia da quadri ad arredamento a icone a strumenti musicali. Imperdibili i pezzi di Vermeer & Rembrandt. Tappa immancabile.

la struttura già di per sè è favolosa, l'ingresso a orari rende possibile la visita senza la presenza di troppa folla, ultimo ingresso (almeno in inverno) è alle 15.30 ma sconsiglio detto orario perchè chiude alle 17 e occorrono almeno tre ore per vederlo bene in quanto sono tre piani di cui il secondo è favoloso per la presenza dei quadri più famosi di Rembrandt e Vermer, ma è consigliabile anche il primo piano per la presenza di quadri altrettanti famosi e oggetti e reliquie di una bellezza assoluta Consiglio di procurarsi la mappa del museo dove sono indicate le stanze e la ubicazione delle opere più importanti per facilitare la visita
MAESTOSO E SNERVANTE
FARAONICO.E' veramente magnifico sia all' interno che all' esterno ma se si vuole vedere nel giusto modo non basta una giornata.Troppo grande è snervante..
Probabilmente il meglio di Amsterdam
Il prezzo consistente non potrebbe essere più giustificato: il Rijksmuseum sarebbe bellissimo anche qualora si disprezzasse la pittura, anche solo per la variegata esposizione di arredamento olandese del "secolo d'oro", i reperti di un controverso passato coloniale, l'affaccio sulla meravigliosa biblioteca e molto altro. Il museo è davvero un condensato di tutto ciò che l'impero olandese, così difficile da individuare nella sua potenza in una capitale così deliziosamente dimessa come è Amsterdam, ha realizzato nel suo "secolo d'oro" e oltre. Il pezzo forte, però, sono naturalmente i ben tre piani di pittura, dai maestri italiani del Rinascimento a Van Gogh, con un focus particolare (e naturale) sui maestri del '600 olandese. Sarà per il temporaneo restauro della "Ronda di notte", ma io ho apprezzato ancor di più gli incredibili Vermeer, piccoli quadri che raccontano un'umanità dimessa con giochi di luce e espressioni irripetibili, o schizzano in maniera memorabile una stradina di Delft. Ma tutto il corridoio in cui sono contenuti ha un livello medio altissimo, che giustifica bene la folla (pure mai eccessiva, grazie ai larghissimi spazi del museo). Tutti e tre i piani valgono ampiamente una visita approfondita, che prenderà probabilmente un'intera giornata.

Una giornata full of art!
Dedicategli il tempo che ci vuole. Il Rijksmuseum è ricco di opere che attraversano i secoli fino ai giorni nostri. Si tratta di un viaggio che spazia dalla pittura alla sezione navale fino alla ceramica, alle armi, ai gioielli, il tutto secondo un filo conduttore storico. Per apprezzare è necessaria una guida, cartacea o audio. Una collezione davvero ammirevole. La dritta: il museo è in un bellissimo palazzo non solo da visitare ma anche da vivere grazie alla presenza di servizi alla persona come l'area pic-nic. Splendidi anche i giardini esterni.

Grande e bello
Grande, tanto, come deve essere un museo nazionale. Tante sale, tanto da vedere, come sempre accade in questi casi, anche troppo. Concentratevi su “quello che volete vedere”, se vi interessa qualcosa da vedere, sennò può essere dispersivo. Qui ci sono pezzi (quadri e non solo) assolutamente da vedere. Merita certamente una visita. Costoso, come del resto tutto qui ad Amsterdam.

un museo ampio e grande , ci sono tantissimi quadri famosi e meno famosi ma sono belissimi, una essperienza molto ricca,bigletti ho aqustato in anticipo online, da visitare❤️🇳🇱

Il Rijksmuseum - Ampi spazi opere magnifiche - Guida multimediale
Contrariamente a quanto sperimentato per altre attrazioni siamo riusciti a prenotare online la visita il giorno prima. Visita assolutamente consigliata, ampi spazi che consentono la visita anche quando il museo è molto affollato. Eccellente la guida multimediale georeferenziata (con posizione delle opere e del visitatore durante il tour). Basta scaricare la app sullo smartphone e utilizzare le cuffie. Mi permetto di evidenziare un percorso storico che fa un po' saltellare avanti e indietro nel tempo ... . Appena sufficienti 2 ore per vedere le principali opere.
Wonderful museum. Pay attention when buying tickets on line.
The Rijksmuseum is an absolute must visit. We met friends in Amsterdam after a Rhine river cruise and enjoyed a perfect half day touring the wonderful art and historical displays. One word of warning if buying tickets on their website. The calendar for selecting the day of your visit begins with Monday- NOT Sunday! I did not have my glasses on and booked tickets for the day before our visit. It was good for a laugh and extra contribution as they don't do refunds.
Powerful and Memorable
The whole experience is extremely wonderful, seeing so many beautiful artworks but the is the Rembrandt's Night Watch that stole our hearts. It is just spectacular and so vivid that it burns right through your eyes and you can never forget it. We were so impressed by the visit that we want to do another one soon.
Historic but limited scope
Rijksmuseum is the national museum of the Netherlands dedicated to Dutch arts, and as expected the offerings are largely Renaissance with a smattering of modernity. Unfortunate that Rembrandt's Night Watch is currently being restored, but glad the museum left it at least partially visible.

Uno de mis museos favoritos. Me encantó!!!! Obvio que mucha obra quackera. Sus porcelanas de Delf. Fui 2 veces porque no queria perderme (en lo posible) nada. Me gusta tomar o almorzar algo en los cafés de los museos. Este es muyyy moderno. Y del shop ni hablar, queria traerme todo de recuerdo

What a place!!!! Entered around 12.30 and grabbed a bite to eat at their restaurant.What a lovely meal it was to! Set us up nicely for a very long slow stroll around Not too busy or hot, an amazing building in itself mevermind the beautiful artwork. Absolutely loved every minuit of it! Defo recommend!!
Don't miss it
This was my third visit in 10 years. It's a wonderful museum. Do grab an audio tour set. You won't be disappointed. And if you're there between July 13 and September 14, 2025, be sure to see Fiona Tan's show Monomania...one of the best and most interesting multimedia shows I've seen in a very long time. For context, I live in NYC and close to Santa Fe.
A beautiful labyrinth
This museum reminds me of the Louvre in the sense that it’s very big, I never know where I’m going and how to get to the start of an exhibition and I am constantly terrified of going through the wrong door and accidentally leaving the museum. Other than that it was beautiful, if a bit overcrowded. This place is a bit of a maze so if you’re unsure of where to go ask for help. There are tons of lockers and even a cloackroom. There are many bathrooms and elevators to get to where you’re wanting to go. All in all it’s a beautiful museum, if a bit confusing. It has beautiful art pieces and with the European Youth Card I got a reduced price for the entry which is was very happy about.
Can't wait to return
Rembrandt. I saw The Night Watch behind glass still fantastic. I think they were working on it because of the scaffolding. Van Gogh, everything was spectacular. Wear your track shoes and the interactive system needs refining. Overall. Beautiful.

Für uns eines der besten Museen. Nicht überladen, ausgewählte Stücke. Dafür logisch angeordnet und gut erklärt Nicht was man sieht, sondern was den Künstler oder das Werk zu einer Besonderheit macht. Man wird, besonders mit der Gratis-App auf extrem interessante Details hingewiesen. Damit wird das Betrachten eines Kunstwerks auch für "Laien" ein lehrreiches Erlebnis.
A Must-Visit for Art Lovers – Stunning Masterpieces!
Rijksmuseum houses an incredible collection of Dutch art and history, with highlights including Rembrandt’s iconic The Night Watch (De Nachtwacht). Seeing this masterpiece up close was awe-inspiring—the scale and the detail. Beyond Rembrandt, I also discovered beautiful works by Anton Mauve, whose serene landscapes captured the Dutch countryside perfectly, and the striking Mannerist paintings of Cornelis Cornelisz van Haarlem. The variety of styles and eras showcased here makes the museum a treasure trove for art enthusiasts. The building itself is stunning, with grand halls and excellent curation. The audio guide was helpful for deeper insights, and the layout made it easy to navigate. My only suggestion would be to arrive early to avoid crowds, especially around the famous pieces. Whether you're an art lover or just curious about Dutch culture, the Rijksmuseum is a must-see in Amsterdam. I’d highly recommend it!
Don’t miss this museum . Worth the money
We are so pleased we prioritized this museum during our 3 day visit to Amsterdam. We thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot about Dutch artists and history. Our favorite was seeing the Night watch by Rembrandt under restoration. It was fascinating to watch the restoration artists at work. The building itself is also interesting. A few tips: 1. Book to go early. We went at 9am and the crowds were greater by 11am 2. Download the app and take earbuds. It helps you navigate and makes for a more engaging experience 3. Allow st least 2 hrs. We were there for 3 hrs.

En regnig söndag valde vi att gå på Rijksmuseum. Trodde det skulle vara jättelånga köer men kom in förvånansvärt fort. Mycket att titta på, och timmarna gick fort.
Amazing History of the Netherlands Awaits You Here
I visited with family and friends on the recommendation of a colleague. I had no idea what to expect. The museum is actually overwhelming because there is so much there. You really need more than one visit to take it all in. You definitely get a comprehensive view of Dutch history when you visit. The building itself is beautiful, and the exhibits are great. There are stunning stained glass windows in the great hall.
Great bit of culture to balance less cultural activities in Amsterdam
We went a little late in the day at 3.30 to find it shut at 5pm. It was worth going to see the iconic paintings. Well worth a trip. Free lockers which which was helpful.
Great for a rainy day
If you get there early enough, you’ll be able to cruise along all the rooms with tranquility. For people like me, who get tired easily, you will be glad to hear that there is plenty of seating for you to rest your legs. We had a few drinks and some bitterballen at the cafe and had a great time & took nice pics.
An Amsterdam must do!
Really enjoyed my visit to the Netherlands' most visited museum. A lot of visitors make a straight beeline to this world famous museum and it's easy to see why. You get to see the most renowned works from the world renowned Dutch Masters. If you really appreciate art, you'll probably need about half a day at least to fully take in the contrasting amounts of works. I saw the majority of the works in the three hours I had but I ending missing the Asian Pavillion, but I did see the highlights including Rembrandt van Rijn's Night Watch(under renovation at the time of this review, I was just grateful enough to see it) and Johannes Vermeer's Milkmaid. Try and get there as early as you can, as it is well busier in the afternoon. But if you book online as I did, you are given an hour's slot to make it to the museum. Visited the cafe too and whilst service can be a little slow the busier it gets, it is a fine way to rest weary legs and recharge and despite the prices, is a little less pricier than the restaurant, but I did visit on a Monday when the Rijks restaurant is closed. Shop moderately priced too. I didn't have time to pay a visit to the gardens, but they're free to visit anytime when the museum is open. Thoroughly recommend going round at your own pace, either by downloading the Rijksmuseum app or by spending €6.50(at the time of review) hiring an audio guide. You have more time to appreciate the works than any tour guide can give you. On selected works you simply type in the number provided into the app or screen and you get a personal commentary Can't recommend the Rijksmuseum enough when coming to Amsterdam
