Just brilliant. My kids loved every part we spent 3 hours here comfortably. Its well worth the money for the tickets and we will be coming back it was incredible there’s so much to do and see and learn so much is interactive too it’s perfect my adhd son was so happy. It is loud so if you have a sound sensitive little one bring ear defenders.

Fabulous of kids
Visiting from London, where it is probably natural to compare this to our Science Museum in Kensington. This beats its hands down. For kids (and big kids) the exhibits are both fun and super interesting. Zero City is a fantastic way for people to learn about zero carbon and climate change. Well worth a visit in Stockholm.

A great museum to visit!
This is a gem in Stockholm! We spent 6 hours there and our child still did not want to leave! It is very reasonably priced and you can also by good lunch from the cafeteria. This museum is full of wonderful things for kids and adults to explore. We highly recommend this for anyone, but remember to reserve enough time!

Kid friendly
Whilst in Stockholm we visited the Tekniska museet which we walked to, from the city centre. This 5 floored museum is perfect for a good few hours. Each area is well themed ranging from mining to learning how photos worked, and everything is hands on. Most things are translated into English, and you're also never too far away from a coffee area! The highlight for us was moving the ball with your mind, genius!

Great for families with children, not so interesting for adults
We went as a family of four with two older teenagers because the Zero-city exhibition interested us. It was worth a visit with interesting information about how to think diffferently in planning a city where people can live in a more environmentally friendly way, as well as looking back to how we got to where we are now with the history of cars and mining included. There were hands-on activities and information to read. In this exhibition, there were not so many children about, so we as adults felt we could take time to enjoy the activities. However in other areas of the museum, we felt we could not participate as there were children wanting to do the activities, and the information about the exhibits was limited. There were many children crying as they were leaving, so it sounded like they had a tiring but enjoyable day because they wanted to stay. So I would say this is a museum for families, but not so much for adults only, unless you can go in the evening.

Urusel restaurang
Bra museum men urusel restaurang.
