If you are travelling to Stockholm with kids than Junibacken is a not-to-miss attraction. Here children can play in their favourite storybook worlds and hop on Astrid Lindgren’s Story Train. Junibacken is fun both inside and outside, with the largest Moomin playground waiting for kids when they step outside.
Sometimes you just want to eat something familiar, luckily the Hard Rock Cafe serves the same meals all over the world, including the Swedish capital. They have been located in this iconic building for almost 40 years. As in other Hard Rock Cafes, here you are surrounded by rock memorabilia and can visit their shop with merchandise.
Though a bit outside the city centre, the butterfly house and aquarium of Fjärilshuset in Hagaparken is most definitely worth a visit, especially on a rainy day. Here you can travel to the rainforest and walk amongst free flying butterflies, and visit one of Scandinavia’s largest shark aquariums. To complete your visit you can have a light lunch at the Haga Garden Café.
