We've been to many Hard Rock Cafe's and found this one to be very good. Usual menu and memorabilia. Guy serving us was great. We pre-booked which was good as others who hadn't were turned away. Sat upstairs which was lovely overlooking Tivoli as in December so all lit up.
gemlovestotravel
Typical experience at Hard Rock Copenhagen- good portions and tasty food, always good to see the memorabilia and listen to the music. Staff were lovely, just across from Tivoli and the town hall.

Me and my friend had a lovely night at Hard Rock Cafe, mostly because of the band that played live Latin music. So a big thank you to Sara, Lucas, Adam and Sabrina! <3
beckyw84
Not the best Hard Rock we have visited. The food was slightly overdone. The staff were really friendly and the shop was great.

Went in here for a late lunch early te. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. Given enough time to look at the menu. Food was hot

Came here for dinner, and was seated very quickly even though we hadn't booked a table. The cocktails are delicious but very sweet and the pulled pork burger was real comfort food. :) The staff were friendly and attentive.

Nice place for food. This is not as impressive for a hard rock than other locations but is a good option for food in Copenhagen. Service was good and the menu is standard Hard Rock. Would recommend for dining in central Copenhagen as it’s right in the centre.

We didn't eat here this time, but we did wonder in to buy some merchandise. Not overly busy, which was nice as you could look around the store. The atmosphere was amazing with fabulous staff and beautiful surroundings outside. A must for those wanting to tick all the Hard Rock Cafe locations off your list.

This was my first ever trip to a Hard Rock Cafe- and I could not fault it! On the day we went, the staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I have never witnessed a group of staff that appear to all get on so well and look happy in their work- it was a delight to see. I am coeliac , and had a wonderful choice of dishes on their gluten free menu. Both me and my husbands burger and chips were delicious and it was great to be able to get a gluten free beer too. Food order and wait were both prompt. The venue was clean. Music, gluten free burger and beer and great service- what more do you need!!

Delicious meal out and very friendly staff who made our experience very good. The menu was very limited compared to other hard rock cafe’s which suprised us. So make sure you fancy a burger! The food was very good and the staff catered to a food allergy with every precaution very well.

Usual menu for Hard Rock Cafe but servers and staff were great. Cocktails were good, nachos for sharing were perfect. Made even a little better by talking with the staff especially Henri the bass player 😎😎🤘🤘🤘

Had a lovely Christmas meal at Hard Rock, friendly staff and festive atmosphere. We loved the nachos and the shrimp, and the portions were massive! The only flaws were that the Long Island iced teas didn’t have enough coke, and in general the spiciness of the dishes was a bit lacking, however this may be due to local tastes!
gabif451
Nico was brilliant and absolutely made our day, he's the most dedicated young man and went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe and pleasant experience. My wife has celiacs disease and Nico was beyond careful with the food and making sure we were comfortable, service was absolutely incredible and made out experience that much more special.

Popped in as had time to burn before my flight homeward. Warmly greeted & served by excellent staff 👌🏻 Food was great and up to normal Hard Rock Cafe standard 🥇 Nice atmosphere inside and some great tunes to rock along too 🎸 Would recommend if passing 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

First time visiting this Hard Rock Cafe. A definite favourite. Food tasted great and service was good. Cool vibe inside with lots of memorabilia and plenty of screens showing music videos. Always visit a Hard Rock and this was one of the better ones.

Das Hardrock-Konzept hält, was es verspricht. Das ist auch in Kopenhagen nicht anders. Nachos und Burgers, Bier und Cocktails. Dazu laute rockige Musik. Was will man mehr.

In pieno centro. Consiglio i nachos.

Was will man groß sagen?

It was the best! The rides are great and it's very pretty! It was one of my favorite parts of Copenhagen and I would like to go many more times!

Visiting Tivoli Gardens was one of my most memorable experiences in Denmark. I felt like I stepped into a fairy tale when I entered the park. I loved the blend of classic charm and modern excitement throughout the grounds. The rides were fun, and the atmosphere was both lively and welcoming. I enjoyed quiet moments by the lake and heart-pounding thrills on the roller coaster. I think the park has something special for every kind of traveler, whether you are with family, friends, or on your own. I spent hours wandering the beautifully decorated paths, enjoying festive music and enchanting lights. It truly felt like a magical escape from everyday life. I left Tivoli Gardens feeling inspired and completely joyful.

It’s really fun in Tivoli, there’s lots of food, rides and such. You should really try it! Everyone is so nice and friendly, the food is great, the rides are greater, the history behind them are also good. Here are some recommendations, The Roller Coaster, The Flying Trampolines, The Demon, The Ferris Wheel (Vertigo), The Dragon Boat, The Golden Tower and The Tea Cups. I hope you enjoy it!! (Don’t eat food before going on a ride)

I went to Tivoli during the Halloween week and it was such a fun place to be! There were a lot of Halloween decorations and the lights make the place just seem so magical. My friends and I enjoyed the park very much.

The twinkling lights, charming rides, and lush gardens felt like stepping into a storybook. The atmosphere was magical, and the live music added to the romance. It’s the perfect spot for a date night in Copenhagen. We left with smiles and unforgettable memories!

After dragging our kids through a long day of sightseeing, we wanted to reward them with an evening at Tivoli. They were very excited to take on all of the rides and we planned to try them all. Unfortunately, the park shut down all of their rides an hour before closing because they were putting on some sort of show. We had no idea, nor had we been informed by staff. Luckily the kids got to do most of the rides, but for the price you pay, we felt like we got ripped off. I contacted Tivoli customer service and they told me that because the kids had gone on a certain number of rides, they were not willing to offer any compensation. How the number of rides the kids went on factors into whether they believe you're owed compensation left me bewildered. We thought we were paying to be able to go on rides for a certain amount of time and they cut that short. It was a lot of fun. Just make sure you're aware of the hours before you go.

We spent a fun few hours here - the gardens are beautiful and the rides are great! Not too pricey although food and drinks are on the expensive side.

The thrilling rides got our hearts racing, while the romantic gardens offered perfect spots for quiet moments. We indulged in delicious treats from charming cafés, savoring every bite. Tivoli is a delightful blend of excitement and romance—a must for anyone exploring Copenhagen!

A really good place to visit. However it really is for young people as it basically is fun fair. The gardens are beautiful and there are some great restaurants. The food hall is a great experience for choice of food.

Amazing trip with my grandkids. many exciting Christmas decorations and a lot of fun for the kids. Unfortunately no real snow. however it was not Tivoli's fault but the weather

Tivoli Gardens was fabulous. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming, the rides were varied and the choice of restaurants and drinks venues were dotted all over. The aquarium was a great benefit as the free pass ride allowed. Would thoroughly recommend this place!

Tivoli Gardens is truly a 5* attraction in the centre of Copenhagen because of its amazing staff, beautiful grounds and the fact that it has something for all ages. We visited on a cold, dry day in January and appreciated the fact that there were opportunities to stop and have something to eat, have a break from the cold, and recharge to enjoy all it has to offer. We visited with a 3 year old and there were about 15 rides that she was able to go on. Many rides are listed with a solo rider in mind so worth checking the height requirements when accompanied by an adult as this opens up many more thrill rides. Our daughter’s favourites were The Galley Ships and The Roller Coaster, both had minimal queues and lasted for a good amount of time. Tip: Tivoli app allows you to scan your ride photo (via QR) to get a free download. Excellent feature.

Visited tivoli gardens the day before the park closes until the summer, the park is beautiful a The lights are so pretty and we loved the firefly garden, with teen boys who were looking forward to the rides, we were disappointed that two of the rollercoasters were closed and a couple of other rides, maybe they are winding down to closing but still paid the full amount x

Well worth a visit, we went during the day on New Year’s Eve but it wasn’t too busy, the rides looked fabulous although we didn’t go on any. Lots of cabins for gifts & places to eat. Great atmosphere & we were able to return in the evening.

Tivoli Gardens in Winter are beautifully decorated and illuminated at night, their Christmas Market is very rich, colourful and meets many tastes, experience is perfect. On the other hand, problems for visitors are: high entrance price without rides (200 DKK or 26 €), high prices in Christmas markets stands and restaurants (150% of regular prices in the city) and the place can be very overcrowded at night, with not much place even to walk, also with long waiting lines for the rides. Surely very worth to visit but maybe better not in some peak days with the most visitors.
523nitink
Biggest park with more than 1000 trees decorated for Christmas. Must go and very enjoyable. Get carried away magically
Lurfer1
Tivoli felt magical over the Xmas period. The lights and atmosphere at night were great and we really enjoyed our time here. A good mix of modern and old fashioned rides alike.

We visited the park on Christmas Day and again on 27th Dec. We loved it! It was a perfect way to spend Christmas. The park was beautifully decorated. The rides were great. We had a fabulous time and would absolutely recommend.
Voyage87637
We came to see the christmas market. We were not disappointed. Tivoli is a lovely space in the city centre. Lots of fun rides and games, many restaurants and bars plus good shops. The market was spectacular. It's just a shame about the high entry price.
868carolined
Visited with my elderly mother and my husband for the Christmas offering. We arrived around midday, took mum home about 6, then returned for the evening. We only bought entry tickets as not really in to the rides but I heard if you want to go on more than 4 rides the pass is more economical than paying individual rides. The Christmas market in the gardens is great, not cheap but acceptable prices for souvenirs. We bought beautiful decorations we have never found elsewhere so very happy. Obviously in December the gardens aren't at their best, but hyacinths were flowering and the use of evergreen cuttings to mulch borders looked great. The evening was brilliant, a 10+ minutes water, laser and light show to the Nutcracker was amazing and the lights basically felt like we had entered Christmas wonderland. I highly recommend for families and adults alike.
Roadschool42
Tivoli Gardens is a legendary amusement park for a reason. They know how to make the park magical in all seasons. For younger visitors, check out Veteran bilerne, HC Andersen’s Flyvende Kuffert, the boats, and the Rasmus Klump play area. Under the roller coaster mountain is an indoor parkour style play area. There are a variety of rides for all ages, but our favorites are the pirate ships and the roller coaster.
WilliamM366
It doesn’t get much more Christmas-y than this place! A fantastic mix of stalls, shops, food, rides and games. All in a beautifully setting that looks great during the day, and absolutely amazing at night. The perfect place for getting into the Christmas spirit! A must do.
146DDL
We loved our 3 day trip to Copenhagen to visit Tivoli Gardens in particular We were there from midday to 5pm and it was so nice to experience the park in the daylight when it was quieter so we could visit the little cabin shops etc and also see the beautiful lights everywhere once it had gone dark We ate in the Tivoli Foodhall in Zocalo and it was so nice The flowers everywhere were pretty and the gardens well kept also No litter !!! Highly recommend a trip here. Very expensive to eat and drink and also the shops here. Pre purchase your tickets so you don’t have to queue up to get in !
LDM125
Great time, very, very popular at Christmas time, so quite crowded. Beautiful lights! Would be a great tradition for those who live nearby-
Wordly19
Beautiful spot. Went on Christmas Day amd we had an amazing time. It's a long day and we waited longer to see the illusion light show. Best part was lots of the stalls had 50% off Xmas decorations! Whole family had fun. We booked tickets ahead.
Wre2nxt
Good pricing and available to purchase tickets with the app. This feature allows for faster entry into the venue. Inside is packed with rides, shops, restaurants, and the ice rink. The ships sold great, hand crafted Danish ornaments, clothes, and decorations for Christmas. The food stalls were also serving up delicious treats Danish and foreign. The only downside was the ice rink! It was plastic, which they did warn us about, but we tried it anyway. It wasn't as fun or as real as ice, and I hope Tivoli would get actual ice in coming years, as this was the only negative of the experience.
dmjk2103
We were told good things about this place before our trip to Copenhagen, but this place was even better than expected. We went when it was kitted out for Christmas and it was such a nice place to walk around in an evening and see the different sights. There are also multiple restaurants and bars to enjoy during your visit.
A_Global_Traveller55
Tivoli is such a fantastic place to go and enjoy a family afternoon with kids and in our case a family member in a wheelchair. It is beautiful, relaxing and good for the soul. Same that many of the restaurants are very poor quality (like the Italian place we went to. Doing the Garden a huge disservice.
flexible
Really lovely amusement park and beautiful garden, something to suit all the family. We started to queue before opening time and had pre-bought tickets which I recommend to do. Best to do your research to see which ticket option suits you, depends if you want to go on the rides as buying them included is a cheaper option if doing a few of those. Plenty of places to eat and drink. We went in December and it was beautifully decorated. We visited first thing in the morning and had a good wander around, stopping for refreshments and visiting all the festive stalls then we went back at night where it was beautifully lit up with a great atmosphere but extremely busy then especially in the eating areas which was to be expected. If leaving but going back later remember to get your hand stamped to get back in. Had a lovely day here and I would go back.
socas2018
Amazing location , we been for Halloween and we spend some days in Denmark and the Tivoli was amazing location for attraction with amazing decorations for Halloween price but expensive but is worthless, prices for food and drink with a multitude variety of food and drink
KyleFP
Visited Tivoli on a cold evening in December. Whilst the weather was cold, the multitude of light features, decorations and visual attractions easily distracted you and kept you 'warm'. Plenty of food stalls, cafes/restaurants, shops and theme park rides for all ages. A great place to spend 3 hours with the family exploring and soaking up all there is to offer. Although it was fairly busy, there was just enough space to get around without having to fight the crowds. Surprisingly the wait time to get on rides also wasn't that long.
18katey
Tivoli Gardens during Christmas is like stepping into a fairy tale! The market was filled with beautiful lights, decorations, and all kinds of food stalls. I tried some traditional Danish treats and mulled wine, which were delicious. There were also small rides and entertainment, which made it feel even more festive. It does get crowded in the evenings, so I’d recommend coming a bit earlier to enjoy the market without too many people.
kevins684
Absolutely wonderful at Christmas, it really was a wonderland of twinkling lights every-where. We basically went for the lights and Christmas atmosphere and were stunned that this covered the whole park area. And if you want theme park rides those looked excellent as well.
Avivtron
The pictures on the internet dont do justice with the place. Magnificent at night, and more than expected. Great atmosphere during Christmas, food and drinks everywhere. Brilliant place for kids
Birgitta-Kenneth
The place to visit if you wanna get into xmas mood! Lovely old place that really attracts people year in and year out and it delivers as well. So much people visiting when we were there, its crowded!
OnHoliday123456
The 180 Dkk is worth it. In my opinion, it is the best Christmas theme Park. Situated just in the City Center of Copenhagen. Tivoli had romantic and bright Christmas lightnings with very nice Christmas decors everywhere. Inside Tivoli, you can feel the Christmas Season.
holibobin
We visited Tivoli gardens at night and it was spectacular! Absolutely picture perfect Christmas scene. We didn’t go on any of the rides but they looked great fun. We were there to soak up the Christmas atmosphere and enjoy the Christmas market
H3084NYdenisej
Tivoli Gardens is probably the most well known tourist attraction in Copenhagen, but it was worth the visit! Especially at night it looked very festive with the Christmas decorations. Didn’t really went in for long since it was very busy, but it’s definitely a must see if you’re there!
769JackB
Going here over the Christmas period definitely elevated our trip and we really enjoyed being able to go to a theme park in the middle of Copenhagen. All of the Christmas decorations made it feel very festive and enjoyable and there were plenty of rides, shops and decorations to keep us entertained for 4ish hours at least. We went on a Thursday afternoon and ended up spending most of the evening there. It was quite busy but not overly so. I can see how if you weren’t interested in the rides then it might not feel like particularly good value for money perhaps.
905elvisa
The christmas market at Tivoli is mixed in with the shops that are there permanently and is mainly around the Namb hotel and peacock theatre area. The gardens sparkle with lights throughout the whole garden. There's some renovations happening and so an area or two have been boarded off. Sadly one of the permanent shops there is closed which is a shame because it was always busy and we were looking forward to visiting. Some of the areas affected are the dragon roller coaster which is still operating and the dodgem ride in the Arabia area making it a little more bare in areas and reducing the photo opportunities. Whilst it's necessary it was a bit disappointing as we were looking to take lots more pictures than we ended up taking and did put a dampener on the experience as the entrance had gone up 30 Kr. The christmas market was the same as previous years with one or two less food and drink stalls. The faux northern light show wasn't on this year but the projected light show was and different. Overall it's always worth going to see the christmas market, even if it isn't quite as magical as previous years.
tsetsok
I personally enjoyed Tivoli. For me it was the first ever attendance in a Christmas amusement park and it covered more than I expected. Tic Tac is my favourite attraction there and the food in some of the little houses was as Homer from the Simpsons says "Mmmaaaghhhhhh". I just diskiked that when I betted on the bikes with Santa, I won and the host didn't gave me the reward, otherwise 5 stars would be my final vote.
804suew
This is a fabulous place. We visited just after it re-opened following its Christmas makeover. The rides are great, the decorations are beautiful and the food options are plentiful! If you come to Copenhagen, definitely put this place on your 'To-do' list!
Scenic801085
We arrived at Tivoli on a Friday at 1400. Not too busy gave us the opportunity to really take in the atmosphere. Weekday visit we guessed would be less busy and think we were right. So many little stalls and the rides were cool decorations were amazing and definitely provided that Christmas feel. Sweets and cakes coffee and glogg everywhere so much to do for family and all. Stay until the evening to get the most of the lights.
hsasmith
I didn't go on any of the rides so can't comment on them but the shops and lights were amazing. Plenty of places to stop for food drinks or just to take in the christmas lights.
dyhx
The oldest amusement park in the world, with a world famous roller coaster where the seats are made of wood. It feels like Christmas already with the Christmas market open in here, the decor and Christmas trees in the attraction. The CPH Discover Card only provides free entry into the park, but the rides are not included. I found out only at the Musical Carousell but the staff was really kind and let me thru since I was in the queue for a while already. Most of the rides are catered for children though they do have a few thrilling ones for the grown ups.
tab_wl
We aren't much for amusement parks, but we still enjoyed walking around Tivoli. There are some picturesque opportunities, and it was nice to take advantage of seeing a "free" ballet at the end of the night.
luketpitchnoir
A nice place to spend a few hours. Definitely go during Christmas for all the shops and food stalls amongst the rides and everything else. Shop around for tickets rather than buying on the gate.
shaunmadge
A wonderful way to spend your evening in Copenhagen. We went on the opening night for Christmas, 15 November, 2024. Just booked entrance tickets as we are knocking on a bit for the rides, but if you are younger or got kids, it is a fun place with some great rides. There are plenty of shops to browse through and you can while away a couple of hours just wandering around the park. Food - so many places to eat in there to suit all budgets, my advice is to book before you go as we struggled to get a table in the restaurants - we did eventually, an Italian - great pizza. If you are in Copenhagen , this is a must do. Loved it.

The ambience is just so nostalgic. I felt like i was in a movie set. I went there when it just re-opened after halloween. You dont mind getting lost there, the lights were beautifully decorated, the food..well..a bit pricey, but i didnt mind sitting and eating there while watching the rides.

We had amazing time in Tivoli Gardens. The gardens themselves, decor, especially with all the lights and halloween theme- amazing. Rides also very good. A bit pricy food, but it was definitely worth it!
