The Brandenburg Gate itself will become the world's largest football goal, and it will be used as a massive screen to show matches.
This Fan Zone will be admission free, so everyone can join the party. Throughout the tournament there will be a pop-up park in front of the gate with green grass covering the square. There will also be concerts in the Fan Zone, and an open-air cinema.
The second Fan Zone in Berlin is the Fan Zone Platz der Republik, in front of the Reichstag building. Here, too, you can watch all 51 matches of the tournament for free. A change of schedule
It is impossible to organise an event like EURO 2024 without it impacting regular operations in the city. For instance, due to the locations of the Fan Zones, City Sightseeing Berlin cannot access two of its regular stops. The stops at the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag will temporarily be replaced with a stop in front of Madame Tussauds Berlin.
Of course, Madame Tussauds Berlin features some of the world's most famous football players. Amongst the renowned players you can meet here, you’ll find French star player Kylian Mbappé, 2022 World Cup winner Lionel Messi, current German super star Joshua Kimmich, and several others. This, of course, means that booking a combi ticket for the City Sightseeing bus and Madame Tussauds during the tournament just makes sense.
