SAIL Amsterdam 2025 boat tour

From the second day of SAIL Amsterdam, you can take a boat tour that will place you right along the many magnificent ships in the harbour of the city. The biggest and best ships will be on the official route taken by the boat tour, as your boat tour is operated by official event partner LOVERS Canal Cruises.

Many different types of ships will come to Amsterdam for the event, including tall ships, heritage ships, navy ships and ships from the Dutch fleet. Among the tall ships are two-, three- and four mast ships from all over the world, from Chile to Vanuatu. No where else in the world, do all these ships come together.

The ships are very impressive as seen from the quay, and some even allow you to step on board. But with over 2 million visitors expected during the 5 days of the event, it is likely to be very crowded on the quay. On the boat tour you will be guaranteed your own seat, and as even the roof of the boat is made of glass you will have an excellent view of the ships.
